New Year Blessing Ceremony

Dear Devotees and Friends in the Dhamma,

You are cordially invited to participate in the New Year Blessing ceremony to be held on April 13, 2012 at 6.30p.m. The event will take place at the monastic residence of the International Shakyamuni Buddha Vihara & Vipassana Center, Inc., 140 Cottage Street, Lynn, MA 01905.

In order to commemorate the event of South Asian New Year, there will be a worship and prayer chanting of Paritta Sutta, listen to the Dhamma Talk and finally sharing merits to all sentient beings.

After the prayer all the participants will have a different taste of food offered by our Bangladeshi, Burmese, Nepalese and Vietnamese friends and families. YoMa Burmese Restaurant from Allston and Tin Hla Burmese family from Malden will bring Burmese food to share on the occasion.

Your kind contribution: Daily expenses of our temple depends on your kind donation. Please send any contribution in the name of the International Shakyamuni Buddha Vihara and Vipassana Center, Inc. We appreciate your generosity and continuous support for the temple.
